After a life time of fishing Bret became a licensed Washington fishing guide in 2001. Now he is owner/operator of Columbia River Sport Fishing Guide Service. He is now currently licensed in three different states including Washington, Alaska, and Montana.
Growing up in Southwest Washington, Bret has acquired a great knowledge of the local fisheries including the Columbia River, which he uses to provide you with one of the greatest Washington fishing trips of your life. Bret guides on all the tributaries of the lower Columbia River along with the main stream Columbia, too. In the beginning of summer, Bret goes to the Nushagak River in Alaska to guide on one of the top king salmon fisheries in Alaska. In late fall heads to Montana to guide big game hunting trips.
Bret’s fishing boat is a custom designed 24 ft. boat
built by Idaho Boat Company. The boat is nearly nine feet
wide to give the most room possible to fish and move around
along with making it extremely stable and comfortable.

Service has the highest level of safety for everybody who comes
fishing with him. It has all the latest safety equipment including
depth finder, GPS, life vests and a marine radio. Our boats
are also outfitted with all the best fishing gear you can
find including G Loomis fishing rods, Daiwa fishing reels
and variety a different fishing tackle to insure you have
what the fish are biting on.
